Precinct 3 Special Projects
Old Railroad Road
Old Railroad Road is a three year project to provide continuous pavement from I-35 to FM3149, through Tokio, to FM 2114 with
access routes to Aquilla and Lake Whitney areas.
Courthouse Roof Repairs and Renovations

Aquilla Creek / Rogers Hill
The NRCS has determined
that it will take $369,600.00 to slow down the erosion of Aquilla Creek at
Rogers Hill Road
. With the NRCS there is a 25% match requirement and on this project that amount
comes to $92,400.00. Precinct 3/McLennan County qualified for the funds by
going through the disaster declaration process after Governor Rick Perry signing
off on the Declaration, allowing TDRA funds to become available. Construction
for temporary repairs begins April 7, 2010, with additional permanent repairs expected
late Fall 2010.

New Precinct 3 Road and Bridge Yard
After being housed at the same location
for almost 100 years, the Precinct 3 Road and Bridge crew have new facilities. Completing
months of planning and building , we have officially moved to our new location at
133 N
Snider Rd. West, Texas 76691.
The new facility is situated on 12 acres and has allowed us to consolidate our operations,
equipment and materials in one great location.
Commissioner Mashek and the Precinct 3 Road and Bridge crew are very excited about
this accomplishment.
